Skill Level
Easy/Intermediate
This pattern is intended to help someone who has learnt the basics of crochet and is now looking to move on and increase their crochet confidence. This pattern starts out simple and progresses through to intermediate stitches and combinations.

Includes helpful photos and tips to guide you through each section and video tutorials for new stitches.

Skills Needed
Follow a basic written crochet pattern using abbreviations.
Work back and forth in rows and change colours.
Work basic stitches (eg: dc, htr, tr, dtr)
It would also be helpful to know how to work decreases (eg: tr2tog, tr3tog)

Yardage Estimates
For those of you who wish to change the dimensions of your blanket by altering the stitch count or number of rows worked, I've provided a table which shows the yardage I used when making the original (Rialto) blanket.

NOTE: The qualities given here are the exact amount used and you should therefore allow extra yardage in your calculations.  Remember that yardage requirements will change depending on the yarn you are using and the gauge you achieve.
