Rosie Posie Square

A pretty little granny square, adaptable for all kinds of projects. So far I've used this pattern a couple of times, first to make some seat cushions and then later a blanket. (See blog posts linked below for details.)

Description

I originally posted a photo tutorial way back in 2013 and then released a video tutorial for the same square in 2023 when I made the Rosie Posie Blankie. I also made a video tutorial to show how I worked the Pom Pom border that I added to that blanket. All links given below!

UK terms used, but I show the US terms to help you translate.

Skill Level

Easy/Intermediate

The square is quite simple, you'll just need to know a selection of standard crochet stitches.

The border is a little more tricky and for intermediate crocheters.

Yarn

Yarn of your choice

Suitable for many yarn weights and fibre types.
