Daisy Puff Hexagons


This blanket welcomes the arrival of spring in a riot of glorious colour! Create a garden of beautifully puffy daisies, and have fun with colour while you create this joyful blanket. The hexagon motifs are joined together using my modular join as you go technique and then a border is added around the edge to frame the blanket.

1 x Totally Teal, 1 x Flaming 1 x Fuchsia, 1 x Crystal Blue, 1 x Perfectly Peach, 1 x Denim Dungarees
3 x Clotted Cream*, 1 x Awesome Avocado*, 1 x Soft Pink*, 1 x Heather*

King Cole Cherished DK
1 x Laurel, 1 x Sunshine

Substitutions 
Approx: 1370 m / 1500 yards of DK yarn.
(MC: 620m / 680 yards, CC: 750m / 820 yards)

Choosing Yarn
The yarn listed above reflects the yarn used in the original blanket and in the pictures in this pattern. However, if you would prefer to keep to one yarn brand, you could try swapping the King Cole Laurel for Bellissima Sugar Snap (3926) and the Sunshine for Mellow Yellow (3925).

Also please note that only very small amounts of the Totally Teal, Perfectly Peach and Heather colours are used in the center of the Daisies. To reduce the amount of yarn needed you could leave out these shades and substitute with the other colours.
