100% Merino Wool / 50g, 173m (190 yards)
Main Colour: 32 balls - White (01)
Contrast Colours: 4 balls of each*
Light Grey (22), Powder Pink (54) and Dew (53)
Substitutions
Main Colour: Approx. 5596 (6120 yards)
Contrast Colours: Approx. 622 (680 yards) each*
* Contrast colour yardage amounts given as a guide, as a range of
different handed 4ply yarns were used in the original blanket.
This blanket can be made using a variety of yarns, depending on the weight
and fibre content you prefer to use. I would recommend working one
block as a sample in order to estimate likely quantities required.

Gauge | 1 square is about 5.5cm (2.25")
Size | One Star Block (4 x 4) is about 22cm (8.5") square
The overall size of the blanket can also easily be adapted by changing the
total number of blocks used.
