Sugar Icing Socks

A simple and easy to remember lace repeat that mimics lines of beautiful piped icing for a decorative touch to these socks which are worked from the cuff down.

Skill Level
Basic stitches used throughout, with standard decreases. 
Previous experience making socks may be useful.


Yarn Suggestion
100g of 4ply/fingering/sock weight yarn of your choice
I recommend a blend with at least 20% nylon or silk.

Needle | 2.5mm circular needle (min 80cm recommended for magic loop)

Small: 17.5 cm (7”), Medium: 20 cm (8”), Large: 22.5 cm (9”) 
Gauge | 7 stitches by 12 rows over 2.5cm (1”) in sugar icing pattern
