Vintage Flower Hangers

Glam up your wardrobe with some sweet retro style hangers, that are as practical as they are adorable.

Pattern Description

A full written pattern for a selection of four different vintage style hanger covers, which are a great way to use up scraps, fun to make and are great for gifting. Covers are worked flat and then sewn into place, decorative elements can be mixed as needed. Including clearly written instructions, assembly instructions, stitch abbreviations and photo tutorials for some stitches.

Skill Level

Easy/Intermediate

This pattern uses mostly basic stitches and techniques. Tutorials are provided for intermediate stitches. Some assembly can be a little fiddly.

Yarn

Hanger Cover: Cascade 220 or similar aran/worsted yarn - (Approx 25-30g per hanger)

Or you can substitute with a sock/4ply yarn held double.

Decoration: Small amounts of sport/4ply weight yarn in various colours.

Hook | Hanger Cover: 3.5mm (E), Decoration: 3mm (C)

Materials | Wooden Hangers (42”) - see link in pattern, yarn needle

Gauge | Not crucial, as long as it fits the hanger well.
