Pattern Description
This pattern is for a triangular lace weight shawl, worked back and forth in rows.
Details are given for two versions of the shawl. A shawl with a contrasting border and dangly dots, or simple one colour variation, which can be made using a single ball of Rialto Lace.

Uses only basic stitches, a good introduction to crochet with lace.

 Debbie Bliss Rialto Lace
 YARN A - 1 ball Royal Blue, 44019 (426 yards)
1 ball is enough to make the one-colour version

For contrasting border only: 
 Lace weight yarn as follows:
YARN B - Pink (32 yards),  YARN C - Red (25 yards) 
 I’d recommend using thin embroidery thread if you have no spare lace yardage.

Hook | 4mm (G USA),  3mm (D USA), 
 For contrasting border only: 2.2mm (B USA)
Materials | Yarn needle.  Stitch maker

Size | 150cm (60”) wide x 58cm (23’) from point to top
Gauge | 1.5 ‘7tr shells’ by 6 rows per 3” across pattern repeat
