Hallowed Hands

Inspired by the mitts worn by Hermione Granger in Deathly Hallows part 1.
I knew I had to have a pair of my own and now you can too.

Pattern Notes
This pattern is for a pair of knitted fingerless mitts with a thumb hole, worked in the the round.

Includes: A full written pattern with clear instructions, full colour breakdown and helpful tips.

Easy/Improver
Basic stitches used but with frequent colour changes, a picot bind off and construction techniques necessary to work thumb hole.

Yarn

To recreate the stripe effect as per the pattern you will around 300 yards of DK yarn in eight different colours, which breaks down as follows: 1 x 100 yds Pale Pink, 1 x 50 yds Mid Pink, 1 x 40 yds Chocolate, 4 x 25 yds each of Lilac, Dark Pink, Light Brown and White, 1 x 10 yds Purple

Hook | 4mm (6 USA)

Materials | Yarn needle

Size | Women's medium

Gauge | 22 stitches and 32 rows = 4 inches in Reverse stocking stitch
